Obverse 36 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching
that features an initial date impression to the north within the last 0
of the date. Obverse 36 has developed heavy die flow lines and
has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a
clashing event with Reverse AJ.
Reverse
AJ is in a similar die state as Obverse 36, with the advancement of
heavy die flow lines. Reverse AJ has acquired a clash mark
through the C of CENT from a clashing event with Obverse 36.
Comments: Variety 33 was
first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin
during mid May 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse 36
date repunching.
