Obverse 28 is identified by date placement at LE and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif of
the 1 and within the upper loop of the 9. Obverse 28 has acquired
a light clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing
event with Reverse AB and has developed moderately heavy to heavy die
flow lines.
Reverse
AB is in a similar die state as Obverse 28, with the advancement of
moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines. Reverse AB has acquired
a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 28.
Comments: The Obverse 28
initial date impression within the upper loop of the 9 was previously
