Obverse 27 is identified by date placement at B and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif of the 1, to the east within the lower loop of the 9 and to the the east within the first 0.  Obverse 27 is observed with the presence of die polish lines.  Obverse 27 has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse AA.
Obv. 27.2:  Obverse 27 has acquired additional clash marks from a second clashing event with Reverse AA.

Reverse AA is rotated 5 degrees clockwise and has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 27.
Rev. AA.2:  Reverse AA has acquired additional clash marks from a second clashing event with Obverse 27.

Comments:  Variety 24 was first identified by this author during 2007.

Variety 24a was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the Variety 24a Plate Coin during mid May 2021.
