Obverse 15 is identified by date placement at LH and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the west of the base of the 1
and to the west within the upper loop of the 2. Obverse 15
has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse O.
Type II Reverse O is rotated 6 degrees counter clockwise, has acquired
clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 15 and has developed the
following die cracks:
1. Light die crack from the denticles at 3:00 extends upward
through the outer edge of the right wreath.
2. Die crack from the denticles at 3:30 extends downward
through the two lower arrowheads, right ribbon end and the tip of the
wreath stem and exits into the denticles at 5:15.
3. Die crack from the rim at 6:00 extends upward through the
left wreath stem, olive leaves and oak leaves and intersects die crack
#4 within the outer left wreath at 9:15.
4. Moderately heavy die crack from the rim at 8:45 extends
upward along the outer edge of the left wreath.
5. Die crack from the rim at 10:15 extends downward into the
left wreah, where it intersects die crack #4.
Comments: The
lower section of the Reverse O die cracking between 8:45 and 10:15 has created a bi-level
field area, which may portend a subsequent die break in this area
during a later Reverse O die state.

Type II Reverse Variety 14 was first identified by David Killough, who
submitted the above plate coin during mid May 2021 for inclusion in
this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 15 and the die
cracking of Type II Reverse O.
